Born from the abscence of diverse and accessible electronic music events in his hometown Eindhoven, Noah Kasanardjo started organising nightlife events here. While first mainly focussed on diversity within the spectrum of electronic music, this later evolved into something more comprehensive: DRAADLOOS

The collective DRAADLOOS organises interdisciplinairy club nights with an exhibitional approach. It aims to be as accessible as possible by ticket price, yet as interesting and innovative in curation. Live electronic music acts, performance art, participatory experiences and immersive installations blend together, while crediting all artists equally through digital and physical media like handouts.

DRAADLOOS has a huge focus on digital awareness. All events have a strict no-phone policy. Upon arrival guests are mandated to put their phones in locking pouches, which can only be opened while leaving the event. This way, it goes one step further than only putting stickers on phones, which most organisations do. Although, only not being able to film already creates more freedom in behaviour, phones in general heavily distract us from real life experiences, and disconnect us rather than connect. DRAADLOOS aims to guide people to connect with each other and themselves through art. We don’t need a phone for that.

Within the organinsation Noah Kasanardjo acts as creative director, producer and creator of the visual identity.
