During the premiere edition of DRAADLOOS, Matthijs van den Berg and Noah Kasanardjo combined forces to build the ambient room for the event. This room served as a space for introspection and to ground yourself.

Matthijs van den Berg made his artistic practice out of his fascination for light. In this ambient room, he used his self-welded stand, with a rotating platform and a lamp. The light diffracted through rotating glass objects placed on the platform. A projection of the fragmented light arises. Noah Kasanardjo uplifted the spatiality of this installation. A a semi-transparent sheet in the middle of the room divided the space, and made it possible to watch the projection from both sides, while being guided by a 4-point ambient soundscape.
