Four tube lights mounted on the wall, reflect the movement of passers-by. Each tube light has its own distance sensor, analysing when and where bodies are detected. This data is used to influence the motion of a generative animation and its colours. Due to the decays and stretches of the animations, bodily positions are abstracted in time and paint this temporary digital canvas.
The tube lights are built and designed by Noah Kasanardjo, repurposing wall profiles, combined with PMMA and 3D printing techniques.
